The PADI Basic Freediver courses introduce, develop and refine the knowledge and skills of the students, with the goals of developing the abilities of the freedivers. Each course consists of a:


Knowledge development:

A self study on the theory of freediving which covers the principles and foundational information about freediving and what the student will put into practice together with their instructor.

Confined water training sessions:

Are done in either a pool or pool like conditions before the open water sessions, these sessions emphasize introducing and developing skills the students van use in confined and /or open water freediving.

Open water training sessions:

During these sessions the students learn, develop and apply freediving skills in a open water freediving environment, in where the student will learn to dive deeper (within the limits), but also learn to extend their personal limits.

Goals:

Static Apnea of 90 seconds and Dynamic freedive with a horizontal distance of 25 meters
